The studio's story.
Second generation of carpentry. Workshop in Nesher. Scandinavian and shaker. CNC for precision, hands for the details.

40 years
My father opened the workshop in 1985 in Kiryat Ata. He made classic Israeli kitchens, sliding wardrobes, kids' room furniture — what everyone made back then. He worked alone, then with two partners, then alone again.
In 2016 I started working with him full time. In 2018 I took over the workshop and we moved to Nesher — a bigger space with room for a CNC and a paint booth. The style changed completely. The DNA of precision stayed.
Yossi
I'm 38, I grew up in the smell of glue and wood. I studied industrial engineering and management at the Technion, worked two years at a big kitchen company in the north to understand production at scale, and came back to my father's workshop.
The reason I only do scandinavian and shaker isn't fashion. It's that with two styles I can get into every detail: the proportion of the framed shaker panel, the depth of the hidden groove in scandinavian, the pulls that work with the color. With 10 styles, everything is mediocre.
The team
Me + two apprentices in the workshop + an outside designer who works with me on complex projects. Deliberately not a large team — if I don't see every front before it leaves, quality drops.

Yossi
Design, measure, build, install

Avi
Apprentice, 4 years in the workshop. CNC and assembly.

Tom
Second apprentice, two years. Paint and finishing.

Noa
Outside designer, complex projects.
The workshop — CNC and handwork
The workshop in Nesher is 280 sqm. Inside — a Biesse CNC (Italy), a paint booth with filtered air, an assembly bay, a measuring station and material storage.
The CNC does the repetitive work — precise cuts, hardware holes, hidden grooves. Hands do the joinery, assembly, paint and installation. Every front passes through hands at least four times before it leaves the workshop.

What we don't do
This is how we stay good at what we do.
We don't restore antiques
That's a different trade. If you need it, we'll happily recommend a carpenter who specializes in it.
We don't do cheap IKEA-style sliding wardrobes
If price is the main factor, IKEA or modular chains will give you a good result at a lower price than ours.
We don't do commercial projects
Offices, restaurants, shops — not our arena. We're good at private homes.
We don't do 5 different styles
Only scandinavian and shaker. If your home's style is something else, we'll say so honestly and try to recommend another carpenter.
Where we are
The workshop is in Nesher, on the slopes of the Carmel. The small industrial zone near the entrance to town.
